Overview

Easy Omnibus keeps Shopify merchants on the right side of the EU Omnibus Directive by automatically tracking every price change and displaying the lowest price from the last 30 days directly on product pages. It captures price changes in real time via Shopify webhooks, with a daily backup snapshot at 14:00 UTC, so merchants never have to think about compliance again. Built for EU and EEA stores running discounts, sales, or promotions where regulators require historical lowest-price disclosure.

Who it's for

EU and EEA-based Shopify merchants — small to mid-sized DTC and fashion/beauty/home stores — who run discounts or promotional pricing and need to comply with the Omnibus Directive (in force across the EU since 2022). Especially valuable for shops selling into multiple EU markets via Shopify Markets, where prices and compliance requirements differ per country.

How it works

  1. Install the app from the Shopify App Store and choose a plan during onboarding (14-day free trial).
  2. The app syncs your products and variants and starts listening to Shopify price-change webhooks immediately.
  3. Add the "Omnibus Price" block to your product template in the Shopify theme editor — the lowest 30-day price appears automatically.
  4. (Optional, Combined Plan) Toggle on the markets you want to track separately from the Markets page; each tracked market triggers a usage charge.

That's it — no manual logging, CSV uploads, or per-product configuration.

What makes it different

Most Omnibus compliance apps either rely on merchants manually entering historical prices, or they only display a static "was/now" comparison. Easy Omnibus actually tracks every price change as it happens via Shopify's webhook system, with a scheduled job as a backup, so the displayed lowest price is always accurate and defensible. The data lives in your shop's records, not a third-party silo.

It's also one of the few Omnibus apps with first-class support for Shopify Markets — most competitors treat your shop as a single price stream, but EU Omnibus rules apply per market, and a price drop in Germany shouldn't set the reference price in France. The Combined Plan tracks each market independently and shows the right lowest price to the right customer, with usage-based pricing so you only pay for the markets you actually sell in.
