Discounts - Market Limiter lets Shopify merchants restrict any discount to the markets they choose — product, order, free shipping, and BOGO — without juggling separate apps or duplicating discount rules per region. Create a discount once in Shopify Admin, then use this app to either enable it only for selected markets or disable it everywhere except the ones you pick. Built for stores running Shopify Markets that need region-aware promotions and can't get there with the native discount editor alone.

Who it's for
Shopify merchants using Shopify Markets to sell into multiple regions who need promotions to behave differently per market — a free shipping offer that only applies inside the EU, a flash sale limited to the US, or a wholesale BOGO that's hidden from retail markets. Most useful for international DTC brands doing meaningful volume in more than one market, where blanket discounts either erode margin in the wrong region or fail to convert in the right one.
How it works
- Install Discounts - Market Limiter from the Shopify App Store and start the 7-day free trial.
- Create a discount in the normal Shopify Admin discounts flow and pick the matching Discounts - Market Limiter function (product, order, shipping, or BOGO).
- Configure the rule in the app — set the discount value, scope, any minimums, and which markets it should apply to (or be excluded from).
- Save. The discount is immediately live with market scoping enforced at checkout.
What makes it different
Shopify's native discount editor doesn't let you restrict a discount to a specific market — and most discount apps in the App Store focus on a single discount type, so running region-aware promotions across product, order, shipping, and BOGO usually means stitching together three or four separate apps with overlapping pricing and inconsistent UIs.
